Quick and Easy Golden Christmas Card

Quick and Easy Golden Christmas Card

Pay For School Trips With Card Making

Every other year, my high school travels to Florida for our band trip. Of course, my parents told me I could go, but, only if I earned some of the money myself.

Since I’m not old enough to have a job, I decided to make cards. My parents friends were so kind to buy cards from me, even when I’m just learning how to make cards.

I Might Start My Own Online Craft Page

Since I get a lot of my ideas from Pinterest, I thought that it might be fun also to share my card making and hand lettering ideas online. This post is the first how-to post for card making that I’ve created, with a lot of help from Mom, since she is just learning to blog.

I also want to share with you my favorite supplies, with convenient links to order those supplies from Amazon. We have Amazon Prime, so we can get all of our supplies quickly and at a great price.

These are not the exact colors that I used but if you can’t get to a store, I suggest that you order what you need from my Amazon links (help me out, too). It will show up at your doorstep.

Step By Step Instructions To Create My Golden Christmas Card

Create your own Christmas card buy order blank card and envelope sets.

Stop One: Start with a blank card. I purchase blank card and envelope sets from Amazon or from our local craft store when they are on-sale. They come in lot’s of sizes and colors.

Step Two: You will need two different styles of ribbon. In each style, cut 5.5″ lengths. Check out Amazon for a good selection. We also buy a lot of our ribbon from the clearance racks at craft stores.

Step 4: Clue ribbon to your card. I suggest tape runner. I linked to the tape runner in the Amazon supplies above.

Now that you have the general idea, just follow my pictures below to see how I put together my card.
